Review Your Program

* Overall educational experience

Academic rigor, intensity, resources, etc.

The classes were interesting but not too hard as the teachers did not want to overload us while we were abroad.

* Host Country Program Administration

On-site administration of your program

Communication between advisors and students needs to be better. However, all the staff is very friendly.

* Housing:

How satisfied were you with your living arrangements?

You get your own room and own bathroom which is nice. There's a lot of privacy but you also can hang out in the common areas with everyone.

* Food:

Food at the cafeteria is great, they serve you a lot of food.

* Social & Cultural Integration:

How integrated did you feel with the local culture?

For the first week or so the students are on campus and it's really fun to hang out with them.

* Health Care:

How well were health issues addressed during the program?

There were no health issues, but the health care was readily available to anyone who needs it.

* Safety:

Scotland is an extremely safe country. I always felt safe here. But it's still important to use the buddy system and not go off on your own.

If you could do it all over again would you choose the same program? Yes

* Money: How easily were you able to live on a student's budget?

(1 = not very easy/$200+ on food & personal expenses/week, 2.5 = $100/week, 5 = very easily/minimal cost)

5-it wasn't as expensive as I thought

Not including program expenses, about how much money did you spend on food and other expenses each week? 50-70 pounds
