Academic Programs Abroad (APA): Paris - Immersion for Intermediate & Advanced French Speakers

What did you gain/learn from your experience abroad? Was it worthwhile?
I learned how to be independent and self-sufficient. In the beginning, I had trouble being academically confident in myself. However, I did not give up and by the end I was succeeding in my classes. I also learned how to problem solve on many different levels, especially by traveling between countries, oftentimes by myself.

I think I would choose a program that better explained the requirements of taking classes in the French University System and had more tutoring and help available for nervous American students.

* Money: How easily were you able to live on a student's budget?

(1 = not very easy/$200+ on food & personal expenses/week, 2.5 = $100/week, 5 = very easily/minimal cost)
