About

Imagine meeting for class at the Orsay Museum or discussing questions of social and racial justice with a local urban dancer. With the APA Paris: June Short-Term program, these opportunities occur every day. Over the span of three weeks, students explore an engaging topic in the field while their knowledgeable professor guides them through site visits and facilitates guest speakers.

Choose one course to follow:

  • Power, Beauty and Revolution: 19th Century Art and Architecture in the Paris Metropole

  • Urban Identities, Popular Culture and French Multiculturalism

All courses are taught in English and are four credit hours each.

Take advantage of what the City of Lights has to offer: a cultural calendar is crafted so that students participate in a variety of cultural events and activities such as a visit to Monet's gardens at Giverny, a concert or dance performance, and insider guided visits of Paris' most well known neighborhoods like the Marais and Latin Quarter.

Students have the option of staying with a host family or living in a student residence. Both accommodations include daily breakfast and five dinners per week.
