To help with the funding of your study abroad, we have compiled this list of scholarship opportunities offered by providers of study abroad programs and foreign host universities. In this directory you will see information from these organizations, which may help you fund your dream of study abroad.

Many other resources exist, including those from your home university, you should check with your study abroad office for a list of these. You might also consider how study abroad may impact your existing university Financial Aid package, as the cost of your education will change.

Forum-Nexus

The Forum-Nexus Student Assistantship Program provides students with an opportunity to work as student assistants for Forum-Nexus Study Abroad faculty and staff, and earn a tuition-reduction scholarship. The program involves 150 hours and is completed in five European countries, as part of the one-month itinerary of the Forum Europe Summer Program in the month of July. Student Assistants (SAs) receive a tuition-reduction scholarship of $1,500.

Don Nunes was the founder of ASE and its Director until his death in November 1997. He passionately believed that ASE should be accessible to as ethnically diverse a group of students as possible. The Don Nunes Memorial Scholarship is available to a student from an under-represented population, according to financial need. It is an award of £1000 for a semester's study.

Ann Nunes was Director of the ASE Programme from 1997-2004. The Ann Nunes Scholarship is an award of £500, and is available each semester to a student on the ASE Education Programme.

The Les Arnold Scholarship is available each semester to a student majoring in English, on the basis of academic achievement. It is an award of £500 for a semester’s study.

University of Dayton China Institute

When applying for a semester program at the China Institute, students not currently enrolled at the University of Dayton are considered for up to $15,000 in scholarships to help offset the costs of tuition, international airfare, Chinese visa costs, meals, housing and tours and excursions. Qasid Institute

The 2018 scholarship application period will open from 01 October to 15 December 2017. Qasid believes in providing scholarship opportunities for deserving students in recognition of their achievement and as an incentive for all those studying the Arabic language to excel. This investment in language education also serves to advance the field of Arabic language studies while enriching the campus atmosphere with diversity, talent, and academic excellence. Applicants will be interested to know that scholarship recipients are also eligible to apply for U.S. university credit for their studies at Qasid at an extra cost per credit awarded.
