About
High School:Most Swedish students go to a gymnasium, an upper secondary school. If you are a YFU student in Sweden, you will attend a gymnasium and be placed in a group of subjects such as languages, art, technology, or natural sciences. Many students that are not participating in the art program are placed in the natural sciences subject.
Gap Year: A gap year is known as “time off,” “time out” or “year out” between stages of life to undertake activities such as study abroad, travel or volunteering. Whether you’ve just graduated, deferred college admissions or are deciding what’s next, you can use your gap year with YFU to gain a greater understanding of another culture. In the process, you’ll discover the real you and experience the world.
