Personal Information

How much international exposure did you have prior to this program? 6 months+

Review Your Program

* Overall educational experience

Academic rigor, intensity, resources, etc.

Not so much resource other than what we brought and the notes we took, and there wasn't such a strict lesson. And in the long run i loves how much work we didn't have but also I think it robbed us of academic benefit.

* Host Country Program Administration

On-site administration of your program

* Housing:

How satisfied were you with your living arrangements?

* Food:

* Social & Cultural Integration:

How integrated did you feel with the local culture?

* Health Care:

How well were health issues addressed during the program?

We had a couple of friends who had been injured and granted that their injuries had not been as serious as previous years but I think it is in the best interest at least for the reputation of the program that minors in the program don't go back home with signs of that injury. Hire a medic to come with us on trips.

* Safety:

We had passed through protests and riots. I can guarantee that students have nothing to worry about unless they want to start trouble. Everyone mind's their own business.

If you could do it all over again would you choose the same program? Yes

I would do it all again although perhaps not very soon. I think the grading and classroom aspect of the trip distracted me sometimes from doing things that I wanted to enjoy.

Finances

* Money: How easily were you able to live on a student's budget?

(1 = not very easy/$200+ on food & personal expenses/week, 2.5 = $100/week, 5 = very easily/minimal cost)

Everything concerning food was extremely cheap for the most part.

Not including program expenses, about how much money did you spend on food and other expenses each week? 30€
Do you have any general money-saving tips for future study abroad participants? Take turns buying groceries and supplies. It evens out by the end of the trip if everyone contributes the same amount.
