An amazing trip with many first time experiences! April 04, 2020

By (University of Southern Indiana) - abroad from 03/07/2020 to 03/14/2020 with

USI: Mandeville - Social Work in Jamaica

What did you gain/learn from your experience abroad? Was it worthwhile?
I learned that some of the same issues we have in the US are present in other places. I also learned there are less resources and assistance with those issues which causes problems to be bigger than they are here in the US.

The Avid Adventurer
The wardrobe you packed was better suited for a semester of camping than club hopping. Outdoorsy, you might forgo a crazy night out for an early all-day adventure. You'd rather take in the rich culture of an old town than the metropolis of a modern city, but for you getting off the grid is ideal.
