Program size was perfect, everyone was supportive and engaged in the project and expectations were made very clear and were met by all participants.

* Housing:

How satisfied were you with your living arrangements?

Felt very safe in the area we stayed in great proximity to night life while in Negril, but also wonderful solitude in Treasure Beach.

* Food:

The food and the service was amazing. Lot of options each night.

* Social & Cultural Integration:

How integrated did you feel with the local culture?

Loved the social and cultural aspects of this trip. I made so many wonderful friends in Jamaica and came home with a 6 yr old pen pal. I learned how to play ludi, the drums, dominoes and learned how to Jamaican dance a little bit. The Shane Drummers were amazing and the day spent at the falls was also very fun. I really enjoyed spending time with the children on the work sites as well.

* Health Care:

How well were health issues addressed during the program?

* Safety:

I always felt very safe

If you could do it all over again would you choose the same program? Yes

Finances

* Money: How easily were you able to live on a student's budget?

(1 = not very easy/$200+ on food & personal expenses/week, 2.5 = $100/week, 5 = very easily/minimal cost)

Not including program expenses, about how much money did you spend on food and other expenses each week? $150
Do you have any general money-saving tips for future study abroad participants? Bring more than you think you need. You can always bring some back with you. I brought about $250 and only spent $150 on food, attractions and small souvenirs and chose to spend the last $100 on a necklace at the airport on the way home.
