Through my experiences, I have acquired skills such as conversating with people from other countries other than the one that i was studying at. It has impacted cultural awareness by appreciating other cultures as well as becoming open-minded on the type of lifestyle other people in countries live and how their daily life is like.

The teacher has us do presentations of our understanding of the course topics as well as we had to write essays and pick our own topic to write about. We were able to get a one on one interaction with the professor as well as with other classmates due to the small class size. |

There were RA's that were there if you needed help or had questions as well as if you were locked out of your room there was the security personell ready to assist you |

How satisfied were you with your living arrangements? |
I lived in a dorm, so pretty much you had your own room. It felt nice to have your own privacy. |

They dont use preservatives in their food, mostly natural, the milk expires quickly |

How integrated did you feel with the local culture? |
From Sussex, there were some trips offered by the school to go to Paris for a weekend as well as to different plays such as Wicked, also Shakespearean plays at the Globe Theatre. At the local pub on campus they had quizzes every thursday and cocktails. |

I didn't really have any health issues on my trip but there was a pharmacy on campus |

| Not including program expenses, about how much money did you spend on food and other expenses each week? | I believe I spent about in total 500 pounds on food and personal expenses. |
| Do you have any general money-saving tips for future study abroad participants? | I think if you had Bank of America it would be easy to take money out/withdraw because of the sister banks in the UK. |

A Look Back
| * What do you know now that you wish you knew before going on this program? | Its an amazing experience that everyone should take advantage of. I think that any student willing to learn or put themselves out there to learn new things or be open to new cultures would benefit. |

| Comments: | It was interesting to learn about health systems in different countries as well as how the promotion of health is done through the use of commercials or advertisement. The professor showed videos and clips of how pharmaceutical companies get people's attention about purchasing their products. |
