European culture is very different from American culture. I would go back in a heartbeat.

Classes were interesting but not alot of work

Amy and the rest of the ISS staff were and continue to be extremely helpful and considerate. Very friendly and always available.

* Housing:

How satisfied were you with your living arrangements?

small rooms, but did not have a roommate. the suite kitchens were well- furnished.

* Food:

there was not much food provided by the university but what was provided was good.

* Social & Cultural Integration:

How integrated did you feel with the local culture?

Everyone was very friendly and loved our accents

How well were health issues addressed during the program?

no experience

If you could do it all over again would you choose the same program? Yes

Finances

* Money: How easily were you able to live on a student's budget?

(1 = not very easy/$200+ on food & personal expenses/week, 2.5 = $100/week, 5 = very easily/minimal cost)

fairly easy but had to do alot of grocery shopping and eat lots of pasta.

Not including program expenses, about how much money did you spend on food and other expenses each week? approx 180
Do you have any general money-saving tips for future study abroad participants? Take out as much cash in their currency through your bank before you go! I spent probably 300 dollars on conversion and withdrawal fees.

The Networker
