Do you have any general money-saving tips for future study abroad participants? All the books for my classes were available in the library (and multiple copies!) so I did not have to buy any books for the semester. Since the restaurants/pubs in town were expensive, I didn't dine in town, but buying groceries and cooking in my apartment was a cheaper alternative.
