What did you gain/learn from your experience abroad? Was it worthwhile?
Very worthwhile. Learned how to travel on my own, and how to adapt in an area where I thought I was out of my comfort zone.

We stayed in a hotel so all of our meals were eaten out. If we could cook ourselves, I probably could've saved a lot of money.
