What did you gain/learn from your experience abroad? Was it worthwhile?
It was so worthwhile. I gained a sense of my own independence. I also gained an incredible appreciation of London and all of its beauty. It is my favorite city in the whole world.

How satisfied were you with your living arrangements?

The housing was adequate, but I had no wifi in my room. This was a huge issue because I couldn't use my laptop in there for homework. Because I was studying abroad and did not have an international data plan, I couldn't talk to family and friends or stay in touch with people while in my room, either.

If you could do it all over again would you choose the same program? Yes

I adored London and Roehampton was a good location and quite cheap, relatively speaking. If I were to study for four years in London I would not choose Roehampton, as academically it is not as rigorous as what I'm used to and I have some issues with how the campus runs itself. But as I was just there for a semester, I didn't mind as much the issues or the lack of rigor.

Do you have any general money-saving tips for future study abroad participants? Buy cheap food in bulk!! Also try to go to museums when there are free exhibits. The Eye is def not necessary.
