What did you gain/learn from your experience abroad? Was it worthwhile?
It was definitely a worthwhile trip. I learned a lot about local history and I experienced navigation of a big city for the first time.

We were only in Paris for a short time but while we were there we were encouraged to say Bonjour and Merci, to use any French we knew.
