Things in other countries are a lot more different than we realize. It is worth it to experience a new place and try new things.

We were being led a lot of the time in a very large group. During our free time we had a little bit of cultural integration. |

How well were health issues addressed during the program? |
The teacher made health a priority and encouraged people to keep well hydrated and fed. Nobody in the group had to go to the hospital so that part was fine. |

Nobody was injured or had anything stolen. They were very good at telling us about how to keep our things safe. |

I generally spent 8-10 euros per meal which was easily over $100 in the course of a week. Plus all that I spent on souvenirs. |

| Do you have any general money-saving tips for future study abroad participants? | When you have the ability to buy stuff from a convenience store vs. fast food. Go for the convenience store it is much cheaper. |

You'd rather take in the rich culture of an old town than the metropolis of a modern city, but for you getting off the grid is ideal. |
