What did you gain/learn from your experience abroad? Was it worthwhile?
Being abroad, I learned how to travel independently, make plans, take risks, and put my self out there. I was definitely worthwhile and I learned a lot about myself being abroad.

Made no effort to integrate Americans with Cypriots or international students.

Cyprus is kind of out of the way, but luckily it isn't too expensive to travel outside the island. The island is a little behind, but being in the EU it is getting better socially and economically. However, I don't regret my experience and it was definitely an amazing semester that I'll remember forever.

Finances

* Money: How easily were you able to live on a student's budget?

(1 = not very easy/$200+ on food & personal expenses/week, 2.5 = $100/week, 5 = very easily/minimal cost)

Food is pretty cheap and with the meal plan it was very easy to save money.

Everyone speaks English but they appreciate it when you try to speak Greek.
