University of Nicosia - Global Semesters: Nicosia - Semester in Cyprus

What did you gain/learn from your experience abroad? Was it worthwhile?
While the experience was very intriguing and taught me to be more responsible and independent. I only learned to be more open to different experiences and to take chances. It was worthwhile only in certain areas where I had to apply being an open minded individual. I had a great time here but I missed being at home since I was gone for such a long time. I definitely recommend it to people who want extensive lengths of travel, because traveling will teach you things about yourself you didn't know. Get lost, take an extra bite of the food you never heard of and most importantly talk to the people of that country.
