What did you gain/learn from your experience abroad? Was it worthwhile?
Gained an immense amount of international knowledge, and even though I had never been out of the US before the transition was not too difficult. The trip was absolutely worthwhile and I would highly recommend it.

Not nearly as expensive to eat and go out as some of the bigger cities such as London, Paris, or Vienna, but the bad dollar to pound exchange rate did hurt a little at the grocery store.
