What did you gain/learn from your experience abroad? Was it worthwhile?
It was the best experience of my life. I made the most amazing friends from all over the world. I was able to learn to live on a budget. I was able to see so much and learn so much and not from a text book but from real life.

Review Your Program

* Overall educational experience

Academic rigor, intensity, resources, etc.

* Host Country Program Administration

On-site administration of your program

No one in the international studies office could ever answer your questions. I felt like I was completely on my own. They were not helpful at all.

* Housing:

How satisfied were you with your living arrangements?

* Food:

* Social & Cultural Integration:

How integrated did you feel with the local culture?

* Health Care:

How well were health issues addressed during the program?

* Safety:

If you could do it all over again would you choose the same program? Yes

Finances

* Money: How easily were you able to live on a student's budget?

(1 = not very easy/$200+ on food & personal expenses/week, 2.5 = $100/week, 5 = very easily/minimal cost)

Do you have any general money-saving tips for future study abroad participants? Do not spend all your money on food. It sounds silly but if you eat cheap meals it helps a lot with your travel expenses.

Language

How would you rate your language skills at the beginning of the program? None

Direct Enrollment/Exchange

A Look Back

* What do you know now that you wish you knew before going on this program? I loved this program because it offered a London Orientation. It was a week of hard core sight seeing and the friends I made during that week are still my friends now!
