Review Your Program

* Overall educational experience

Academic rigor, intensity, resources, etc.

Teachers take a personal interest in your progress. The environment is rigorous and there is a respectable amount of homework. It is an intensive course and you will learn a lot.

* Host Country Program Administration

On-site administration of your program

The madrichim and staff of the International school are extremely friendly and available to help if needed. The atmosphere is very welcoming.

* Housing:

How satisfied were you with your living arrangements?

Living arrangements in Talia are very sufficient even for adult students. There are private rooms with personal bathrooms and a shared kitchen.

* Food:

Restaurants are available and dorms have kitchens.

* Social & Cultural Integration:

How integrated did you feel with the local culture?

The amount of integration you experience will depend on your own efforts. You may want to live off campus if this is critical because 5 hours of class a day with homework kept us busy.

* Health Care:

How well were health issues addressed during the program?

No vaccines needed. There is a nat'l Clalit clinic right on campus - very easy, very accessible.

* Safety:

All safety issues were well provided for.

If you could do it all over again would you choose the same program? Yes

The program at Haifa is very inclusive. It is like a home away from home with plenty of opportunity to meet people, learn a lot of Hebrew in the Ulpan and many travel opportunities included in the program.
