What did you gain/learn from your experience abroad? Was it worthwhile?
I gained a sense of adventure that I didn't understand before. I learned that the cultures of other countries can be similar and very different to my own. This has caused me to develop a strong urge to discover more about the cultures of the world.

I learned a lot in the short amount of time I was there. The experiential days made the class even more enjoyable.

There were activities available for each student to participate in, but we were given plenty of free time to explore the country, or other countries, on our own. It was a great experience.

* What do you know now that you wish you knew before going on this program? I wish I knew the importance of impromptu adventures. They were the most memorable and the most amazing experiences. Planning every second of the trip can cause missed opportunities.

The Avid Adventurer
The wardrobe you packed was better suited for a semester of camping than club hopping. Outdoorsy, you might forgo a crazy night out for an early all-day adventure. You'd rather take in the rich culture of an old town than the metropolis of a modern city, but for you getting off the grid is ideal.
