What did you gain/learn from your experience abroad? Was it worthwhile?
There is so much more to see outside of the US. My time abroad was definitely worthwhile because of all the countries I was able to visit.

I was very aware of and accepted the many different cultures in Europe.

* Health Care:

How well were health issues addressed during the program?

With a health issue, they had a doctor close to the school that we could take a cab to. There were quite a few cheap pharmacies in town as well.

* Safety:

I felt very safe in the city I stayed in. Don't travel anywhere alone, even if you know where you're going.

If you could do it all over again would you choose the same program? No

Although I loved my time in England, I would like to visit somewhere else and experience living in another country.

Finances

* Money: How easily were you able to live on a student's budget?

(1 = not very easy/$200+ on food & personal expenses/week, 2.5 = $100/week, 5 = very easily/minimal cost)

Not including program expenses, about how much money did you spend on food and other expenses each week? Approximately $1000 including independent travel and food
Do you have any general money-saving tips for future study abroad participants? Don't Stop researching until you find the cheapest train/flight. It's very cheap to travel in Europe so don't be afraid to research a couple hours for the best deal.
