Yes. I am definitely more confident with traveling on my own and dealing with unfamiliar situations.

| Not including program expenses, about how much money did you spend on food and other expenses each week? | I spent an average of 30 UK pounds a week, not including the pre-paid room and board. |
| Do you have any general money-saving tips for future study abroad participants? | It was generally better to buy food at a supermarket, rather than go to restaurants, although Edinburgh does have a lot of cheap eateries that cater to students. Bear in mind that you will need to buy things like towels, linens, if you don't bring them with you. |
