It was definitely worthwhile. It was my second time doing a study abroad program in Copenhagen and I didn't know I would continue to learn so much more about the city and Danish culture. Despite the expensive living conditions, as you learn more about the Danish welfare and political system, you grow to understand how applicable it is in such a society. In learning this, you take away new ideas that you can attempt to apply to your life in your home country. In addition to this, I met many locals who I will continue to keep in touch with and I'm sure I'll visit Copenhagen again in the future.

Resources felt scattered compared to UT. Academic rigor was very lax throughout the semester but intense during final exams. |

Health care is easily accessible. I was able to see my doctor quickly and efficiently. Doctors speak English and there is a nurse hotline if you're not sure whether you should see a doctor, so it's very easy to get healthcare. Doctors visits are also covered by the Danish healthcare system if you're a temporary resident, but medications must be paid yourself or through your health insurance. |

Copenhagen is extremely safe and I felt comfortable walking alone at night. Of course, always be wary of your surroundings especially in crowded areas. |

Living expenses are high. Copenhagen has high taxes. If you budget your money correctly and don't travel too much, you should be fine. |

| Do you have any general money-saving tips for future study abroad participants? | Buy your groceries at less upscale stores such as Netto and Fakta. Try not to eat out too much (it's very expensive). |
