University College London (UCL): London - Direct Enrollment & Exchange

What did you gain/learn from your experience abroad? Was it worthwhile?
I was able to travel all over Europe and experience living in a new country/city. Although I felt that a lot could have been improved about the education aspect of my time abroad, I overall really enjoyed being in London and being abroad for a semester.

A Look Back

* What did you like most about the program?
  • Central Location in London
  • Facilities
  • Lecturecast
* What could be improved?
  • Teaching quality
  • Administrative Response Time and Clarity
  • Communication between professors and students
* What do you know now that you wish you knew before going on this program? I wish I knew more about the teaching style they that use at UCL. There is very little contact with the professors (usually only meet once or twice a week for lectures) and most of the help/contact you have is from TAs. Additionally, since many classes have the end of the year exam in June count for 90%+ of the grade, there isn't really too much of a sense of everyone working and studying.
