The Universidad Católica del Uruguay Dámaso Antonio Larrañaga is a private university in Uruguay. It was the only private university in the country for 11 years. It is named after Dámaso Antonio Larrañaga

The international dimension is an essential part of our university proposal, feeds her inclusion in the system of Catholic universities in its extensive network of agreements and the Association of Jesuit Colleges that has an experience of over 450 years with some of the best universities in the world. Especially stand Universities in Europe, North America and Latin America.

The Academic cooperation in multiple forms, shared experiences based on a common educational philosophy, joint projects, networks research and exchange of teachers and students constitute forms privileged of our international relations.

In the University received 149 visiting students at the level of bachelor, master, doctoral and postdoctoral as well as for conducting academic internships in their faculties and departments. At the same time, due to a sharp increase in opportunities to study abroad with scholarship support, the number of outgoing students amounted to 69. It highlights including scholarships for masters and doctoral studies with EU support European, through the Erasmus Mundus External Cooperation Window "program.
