I really enjoyed my internship in Dubai.. On the job training in Madinat Jumeirah and taking up courses in Emirates Academy are one of the achievements that I have been so proud of. |

Everything was pleasant and comfortable. |

How satisfied were you with your living arrangements? |
The rooms got a complete set up from the kitchen, bed, even the laptop was provided. The experience was really wonderful because everything were provided. |
* Food: |
Got available restaurant inside the academy, then if I am at workI can also eat in the cafeteria. There was never an issue. |
* Social & Cultural Integration:
How integrated did you feel with the local culture? |
I also took up the course regarding Culture and it helps a lot not only in staying in a different country but also in the work ethics and diversity as well. The academy have a lot of activities wherein you can mingle with all the other students who got different nationalities. |
* Health Care:
How well were health issues addressed during the program? |
I cannot remember going to the clinic when I was there but I know that in the convenience store near the academy they got medicines as well so it is accessible. |

I’ve always felt safe inside and outside the Academy and Madinat Jumeirah. |
If you could do it all over again would you choose the same program? |
Yes
Yes because I really enjoyed the whole program. |

* Money: How easily were you able to live on a student's budget?
(1 = not very easy/$200+ on food & personal expenses/week, 2.5 = $100/week, 5 = very easily/minimal cost) |
The allowance was just enough, not an issue at all. |
Not including program expenses, about how much money did you spend on food and other expenses each week? | I cannot remember, honestly. It actually depends on a weekly basis. |
Do you have any general money-saving tips for future study abroad participants? | Well of course cooking at home can help them save more. But they also need to try the Arabic food there so it’s alright to spend as well. Use the discount perks to try the restaurants under Jumeirah. |
