About

With its mixture of Western and Eastern values, culture, and traditions, Hong Kong is an ideal gateway to China and all of Asia. Syracuse University's Hong Kong program offers you the opportunity to study the political economies, business, and cultures of East Asia at a pivotal moment in the region's history. As Hong Kong continues to move forward as a Special Administrative Region (SAR) of the People's Republic of China, students not only study–but also participate within–a political landscape and marketplace that will be as important to the 21st century as the U.S. was to the 20th.Internships are built into the SU Hong Kong program, with students devoting the final five weeks of their semester abroad to a full-time internship or research project in a field of their choice.
