What did you gain/learn from your experience abroad? Was it worthwhile?
Strangely I realized, not through homesickness(I did not get home sick) but simply through spending time in other parts of Europe, that I love where I live and the United States more than anywhere else I visited.

A Look Back

* What did you like most about the program?
  • The availability to travel on the weekends.
  • The freedom to be my own tour guide and see what I wanted to see, not be strapped down by group wide tours.
  • Studying abroad with other Geneseo Students.
* What could be improved?
  • We saw "The Woman In Black" a horror play in London. It was not optional. I will admit I lost sleep over the following week of the trip because of how scared I was from that play.
* What do you know now that you wish you knew before going on this program? My experience in Oxford was not very exotic, it was very similar to american culture. So I have no answer for this question.
