What did you gain/learn from your experience abroad? Was it worthwhile?
I learned how to appreciate life and what I have at home. As well as the beauties of nature(Machu Picchu, hiking for five days in the mountain, community service in the rainforest).

How satisfied were you with your living arrangements?

Never had a problem where ever we stayed.

* Food:

I felt like there always more then enough food to go around for everyone.

* Social & Cultural Integration:

How integrated did you feel with the local culture?

I loved being able to go up to anyone where we stayed and have a conversation with them in spanish.

* Health Care:

How well were health issues addressed during the program?

Altitude sickness bothered me a little in the mountains, but they always had medicine to help with the headaches.

* Safety:

There was nothing we did that I didn't feel was safe.

If you could do it all over again would you choose the same program? Yes

Finances

* Money: How easily were you able to live on a student's budget?

(1 = not very easy/$200+ on food & personal expenses/week, 2.5 = $100/week, 5 = very easily/minimal cost)

You paid for all your food,living, etc in advance. Only needed money for extra things(souvenirs).

Do you have any general money-saving tips for future study abroad participants? The first souvenir shop or market you see you will want to buy everything. Don't you will mostly likely find something you like better some where else, or something you want more.
