I learned a lot about the city, the local politics, the history of the area and became a bit better in Spanish

Faculty was enthusiastic and committed; program (as is commonly the case with most language courses) was not tightly structured; based mainly (it seemed) on teacher's predispositions

Lovely place and host--at times, too warm (because of construction of the building)

I went to start reviewing Spanish I had learned years ago and it served this purpose

Do you have any tips/advice on the best ways to practice the language for future study abroad participants? the local community person arrangement (for English/Spanish exchange) did not work out well bec of a strike
