Study Abroad Programs in Costa Rica

What did you gain/learn from your experience abroad? Was it worthwhile?
Sooo incredible. I made long-lasting friendships. I improved my Spanish 100% and practically became fluent. I gained a second family that I will treasure and cherish forever. I experienced the beautiful natural landscape of the friendliest country in the world. was greeted into a culture with wide open arms. I could not have asked for anything better. I learned so much and I will never forget the time that I spent there.

An active student leader, it was important for you to network abroad as well. Once overseas, you sought out student clubs, volunteered with local organizations, or attended community events. You encouraged your friends join you, and often considered how you could reflect your international experiences in a resume.
