Review Your Program

* Overall educational experience

Academic rigor, intensity, resources, etc.

Dr. Neill Armstrong was the professor for this class. He knows more than enough information to teach this class, even in a different country. He works well with his students and really loves what he does!

* Host Country Program Administration

On-site administration of your program

All my expectations were met and more!

* Housing:

How satisfied were you with your living arrangements?

* Food:

Costa Rica's food was fabulous. Dr. Armstrong knew the best and cheapest places to eat.

* Social & Cultural Integration:

How integrated did you feel with the local culture?

Hot Springs Hot tub, Zip Lining, Hiking through Costa Rica. It was all great!

* Health Care:

How well were health issues addressed during the program?

* Safety:

We were prepared to travel to a different country. When there was something we needed and didn't have it Dr. Armstrong would have it or know where to get it quickly.

If you could do it all over again would you choose the same program? Yes

Finances

* Money: How easily were you able to live on a student's budget?

(1 = not very easy/$200+ on food & personal expenses/week, 2.5 = $100/week, 5 = very easily/minimal cost)

Do you have any general money-saving tips for future study abroad participants? I would bring cash for the first part of the trip. However I would make them smaller bills.

If applicable, to what degree did your living situation aid your language acquisition?
