What did you gain/learn from your experience abroad? Was it worthwhile?
I am so glad that I went on this trip and extremely thankful for the amazing opportunity. It was great to learn about other cultures and how similar/different other countries are from the U.S. I really gained more life experience in general which was definitely worthwhile and I am happy to have made new friends and new memories.

A Look Back

* What did you like most about the program?
  • The freedom to go off on our own to experience the country.
  • Being able to take classes with and spend time with locals.
  • The fact that the group got together several times before leaving so that we would know each other.
* What could be improved?
  • It would have been nice if the place we stayed was closer to the main city.
  • It would have been awesome if we could get more locals to be taking the class with us rather than just a few.
* What do you know now that you wish you knew before going on this program? I wish I had known to bring maps so that I would not get as lost in the big cities. I also wish I had brought more comfortable shoes because there was much more walking than I expected.
