Join students from all over the world on one of Sotheby’s Institute of Art’s unique semester courses. These are full-time fifteen-week programs, some of which can also be taken on a part-time basis. Different subjects are offered in the autumn and spring semesters, but each combines academic study with an insight into art and the professional art world. Semester students immerse themselves in the rich artistic resources available in London.
Designed for those who have a strong vocational or professional interest in a specific subject, these intensive programs can also provide the necessary foundation for students who are applying to the Postgraduate Diploma and MA programs at the Institute.
The Institute currently offers six Semester Programs: Art and Business, Internship Program: Art Business Foundations and Placement, Art Museums, Galleries and Curating, Asian Art and its Markets, Decorative Art and Design, and Foundations of Western Art.
