SIT Study Abroad: Reviews from Former Locations

What did you gain/learn from your experience abroad? Was it worthwhile?
To try to describe everything I learned during this program would be impossible. I learned a lifetime of lessons (as cliche as that sounds). The personal growth from the people on the program and the organization leaders/ beneficiaries we met while explore the social enterprise scene in each country has pushed me into explore more of social impact, human centered design and social entrepreneurship in my home college experience. I would go again and again.

The Avid Adventurer
The wardrobe you packed was better suited for a semester of camping than club hopping. Outdoorsy, you might forgo a crazy night out for an early all-day adventure. You'd rather take in the rich culture of an old town than the metropolis of a modern city, but for you getting off the grid is ideal.
