What did you gain/learn from your experience abroad? Was it worthwhile?
Things really are different, even in a country that appears similar to your own. Everyday, I think about how much I want to go back. I want to see and do and learn more. It was completely worth it!

If you really want to see other parts of the country, you must spend a good bit of money. Locally, you can do a lot for free or be reimbursed. If you want to engage in local night life, go shopping, or dine out it will cost.

* What do you know now that you wish you knew before going on this program? I wish I had planned to visit places more. There was so much I did not see that I could have. It is good to look up places before traveling and setting travel dates.
