Review Your Program

* Overall educational experience

Academic rigor, intensity, resources, etc.

I enjoyed that the seminars were discussion based, and that we discussed the reading assigned to us the previous day. I felt that both classes related as a whole to the general theme of the program. We learned in an American system. The workload was very manageable.

* Host Country Program Administration

On-site administration of your program

The office was very helpful and always there if you needed anything.

* Housing:

How satisfied were you with your living arrangements?

I loved the housing. It was great to live where actual St. John's live and I enjoyed the set up of having my own room with a sink.

* Food:

I was very happy that they were compliant with my gluten allergy.

* Social & Cultural Integration:

How integrated did you feel with the local culture?

I loved all of the excursions, especially the one to Derbyshire.

* Health Care:

How well were health issues addressed during the program?

* Safety:

Oxford seemed very safe to me and I never experienced any health issues. Ab

If you could do it all over again would you choose the same program? Yes

Finances

* Money: How easily were you able to live on a student's budget?

(1 = not very easy/$200+ on food & personal expenses/week, 2.5 = $100/week, 5 = very easily/minimal cost)

Not including program expenses, about how much money did you spend on food and other expenses each week? About 100 pounds a week.
Do you have any general money-saving tips for future study abroad participants? Make sure you bring a lot of cash with you! The exchange rates at the ATM are awful.
