About

Spend your Spring Break down in Peru! Travel to Villa El Salvador, Peru a coastal village (just over 30 years old) of about 400,000 residents, located 12 miles southwest of Lima. Become one with the Peruvians as you walk with them through their lives. Have the opportunity to work alongside people of all ages, from infants at the orphanage to the elderly at a local nursing home.

The experience will have a strong focus on working with Peruvian University students. Regis students will interact with these students on their mission to learn the English language. We also work closely with the Villa El Salvador Youth Group, together we contribute to their community in many positive ways.

Experience Lima, the Capital of Peru, and the many sights and attractions it has to offer. From the beach to the catacombs, Lima has a variety of culture to impress upon our students. Be ready to spend every night reflecting and dancing under the moonlit sky.

This is a one credit course, which meets once a week for two hours from the start of the second semester to the beginning of April. Each student is responsible for fundraising half of the Program Fee on their own. The other half will be raised as a group.
