What did you gain/learn from your experience abroad? Was it worthwhile?
I gain a lot from this experience. First of all it allowed me to get deep into a new culture, meeting new people and exploring the country. I obviously improved my English skill here and my studies bring me a lot of knowledges! I gained in autonomy and learned how to live by myself abroad.

How satisfied were you with your living arrangements?

I was not allowed to benefit from the housing services. However, student housing appeared to be really good.

I did not had the opportunity to try any food from there.

I have not been allowed to access the health care services as an one semester exchange student.

If you could do it all over again would you choose the same program? Yes

(1 = not very easy/$200+ on food & personal expenses/week, 2.5 = $100/week, 5 = very easily/minimal cost)

Do you have any general money-saving tips for future study abroad participants? It is really important to save money before coming in London and working hard for that. I saved a little more money than necessary in case.

  • Some student facilities are only available for full year student
* What do you know now that you wish you knew before going on this program? I wish I knew it was really important to train a language skill before moving to a country. Indeed, being in immersion can be frustrating when you’re not totally fluent.
