Finding Myself in the City March 29, 2021

By (University of Southern California) - abroad from 01/15/2020 to 03/18/2021 with

Queen Mary University of London Study Abroad programme

What did you gain/learn from your experience abroad? Was it worthwhile?
Though my experience was cut short due to COVID-19, those three months abroad were the best months of my life. I miss the environment and culture a lot. There's a lot of independence both academic and personal. I learned a lot about myself during this time.

Comments: Amanda Sciampacone is a friendly and knowledgeable professor. She really encouraged us all to participate as much as we could. Since this class deals with going to a museum every week, students will definitely get to explore London and its history. After taking the class, I have a better appreciation for museums, their displays, and their messages. Amanda is extremely helpful. I enjoyed receiving guidance from her for my essays as well as just chatting about our experiences with London and the museums. I highly recommend this class for an immersive experience.
