London: Best Decision I Ever Made Past Review

By (Neurobiology and Neurosciences., Wellesley College) - abroad from 09/16/2013 to 12/13/2013 with

Queen Mary University of London Study Abroad programme

What did you gain/learn from your experience abroad? Was it worthwhile?
The most valuable thing I learned during my abroad experience was learning to be independent. Navigating a large city on my own and exploring unknown things really helped me learn that. It was definitely worthwhile because not only did I experience living like a Londoner but I also got to visit 7 other major European cities in the process. Studying abroad is definitely an experience everyone should have.

The Avid Adventurer
The wardrobe you packed was better suited for a semester of camping than club hopping. Outdoorsy, you might forgo a crazy night out for an early all-day adventure. You'd rather take in the rich culture of an old town than the metropolis of a modern city, but for you getting off the grid is ideal.
