What did you gain/learn from your experience abroad? Was it worthwhile?
Absolutely. I gained a greater depth of world view, a better understanding of the Spanish language, and sense of independence, and an understanding of a culture very different from my own.

They were very supportive, and exceeded my expectations in most ways. Sometimes they seemed a bit unavailable.

The food in Peru is incredible, and very affordable.

* Social & Cultural Integration:

How integrated did you feel with the local culture?

The trips to Cusco/Machu Picchu, Iquitos/The Amazon were phenomenal. I will never forget those experiences.
