Personal Information

Review Your Program

* Overall educational experience

Academic rigor, intensity, resources, etc.

I personally did not have a particularly good experience with LSE academics. The course I had hoped to take was made unavailable to me when I arrived, despite having applied in January. As LSE courses are year long, this made me not want to stay for the entire program. In terms of the courses I did take, there were pros and cons. Less teacher contact, huge classes, but some rather interesting class subjects.

* Host Country Program Administration

On-site administration of your program

Helpful with general administration stuff. Extreme lack of course selection guidance.

* Housing:

How satisfied were you with your living arrangements?

Great, especially compared to broken down Wellesley.

* Food:

Self catered.

* Social & Cultural Integration:

How integrated did you feel with the local culture?

This is completely up to the student. The GC does plan a lot of great activities.

* Health Care:

How well were health issues addressed during the program?

* Safety:

If you could do it all over again would you choose the same program? No

I wish I did not pick LSE over Oxford.

Finances

* Money: How easily were you able to live on a student's budget?

(1 = not very easy/$200+ on food & personal expenses/week, 2.5 = $100/week, 5 = very easily/minimal cost)

* Did your program have a foreign language component? No

Direct Enrollment/Exchange
