Review Your Program

* Overall educational experience

Academic rigor, intensity, resources, etc.

Very rigorous; program is end-heavy. Unlike at Wellesley where assessments are conducted throughout the year, at LSE you are expected to be an independent learner, and to keep on top of your work in order to be prepared for the final exam which counts for 100% of your grade at the end of the school year.

* Host Country Program Administration

On-site administration of your program

LSE deals with alot of students, and so their administration is very efficient.

* Housing:

How satisfied were you with your living arrangements?

Lived in LSE halls; great value for money

* Food:

Self catered, learned to cook for myself.

* Social & Cultural Integration:

How integrated did you feel with the local culture?

English speaking country

* Health Care:

N/A didnt use it

* Safety:

Where the halls and the university campus is located, I felt very safe

If you could do it all over again would you choose the same program? Yes

Finances

* Money: How easily were you able to live on a student's budget?

(1 = not very easy/$200+ on food & personal expenses/week, 2.5 = $100/week, 5 = very easily/minimal cost)

London is expensive

Do you have any general money-saving tips for future study abroad participants? Student oyster card, apply for the rail card, buy day-of tickets for musicals/ theatre shows
