Best year in College Past Review

By (Quantitative Economics / Math, Tufts University) - abroad from 09/26/2011 to 06/14/2012 with

London School of Economics (LSE): London - General Course, Year-Long Study Abroad Programme

What did you gain/learn from your experience abroad? Was it worthwhile?
The experience was amazing. The academics were ideal and I learned more in one year at the LSE than had the past two years at my home university. If you love math and economics it's a great place to be because the two are integrated so seamlessly. I was also able to plan my schedule in a way that made it possible for me to travel around Europe. In the 9 months I was abroad, I was able to visit fifteen countries. It was an absolutely worthwhile experience and I would recommend it to anyone who is truly interested in economics and loves to travel.

Reasons For Studying Abroad

To help future students find programs attended by like-minded individuals, please choose the profile that most closely represents you.
The Avid Adventurer
The wardrobe you packed was better suited for a semester of camping than club hopping. Outdoorsy, you might forgo a crazy night out for an early all-day adventure. You'd rather take in the rich culture of an old town than the metropolis of a modern city, but for you getting off the grid is ideal.
