I learned a lot about myself, I conquered a lot of fears, and I realized many things that I was grateful for back home that I had taken for granted.

Food (and the cost of living in general) is very pricey if you aren’t careful, but it was fun to cook for myself, and I loved trying British foods.

* Social & Cultural Integration:

How integrated did you feel with the local culture?

* Health Care:

How well were health issues addressed during the program?

* Safety:

Just be generally aware of your surroundings as you should in any city.

If you could do it all over again would you choose the same program? No

Finances

* Money: How easily were you able to live on a student's budget?

(1 = not very easy/$200+ on food & personal expenses/week, 2.5 = $100/week, 5 = very easily/minimal cost)

London is a very expensive city overall.

Do you have any general money-saving tips for future study abroad participants? Be aware of what grocery store you’re shopping at. Even if Sainsbury’s is a two minute walk from your home, it is likely smarter to walk twenty minutes to Lidl and spend half the amount on groceries.
