About
The KIIS summer Slavic Europe program takes place in two countries. It starts in the thousand-year-old city of L’viv (Ukraine). This urban center is a UNESCO world heritage site and classes make use of local museums, cafes, and national institutions. Students participate in an international student conference, make traditional Ukrainian folk Easter eggs, visit the Carpathian Mountains, palace ruins, and smaller towns & villages. The program concludes in Poland, where students explore the city of Warsaw, and visit the Nazi Death Camps at Auschwitz.
