Independence and confidence while traveling. I also got to see many parts of the world, which was amazing. Studying abroad can definitely be challenging and stressful but ultimately is was an awesome experience and very worthwhile! - Middlebury College View Entire Review

I learned that I could be independent; I learned that classes can be extremely interesting if you go to tehma dn get involved; I learned that you can't judge people by their cover, and that it is not worth it to have preconecieved notions, but rather go out and enjoy every one you meet and every opportunity you have. It was so worth it; I wish I'd spent a full year there. I learned how to let loose and actually enjoy myself. The community was wonderful. Most people at my own University are bags of dicks, if I may say so. I had an absolutely fantastic time. - Trinity University View Entire Review

I gained friends that will last my entire life, a better knowledge of the world, and learned how to take a breath and enjoy place that I am. - Hamilton College View Entire Review
I gained confidence in myself with regards to traveling alone and interacting with other people. I also had some amazing travel experiences--Edinburgh, the Outer Hebrides, the Isle of Skye, Inverness, the Highlands, the Lake District, Wales (Snowdonia National Park), Glasgow Celtic Game, London x2, Paris, Oxford and Cambridge. I learned how to be more independent. Overall, it was a worthwhile experience. - Brandeis University View Entire Review
I gained insight into schooling in the UK system, and thoroughly enjoyed my time; however, I gained very little academically. There was plenty of fun to be had, but aside from my interest in golf I don't think it was worth going. - Trinity University View Entire Review
It gave me a great perspective on how the rest of the world views Americans. - Trinity University View Entire Review

God yes. It's changed everything and made me want to live abroad for a while. - Tufts University View Entire Review
