I gained independence, exposure to my academic and intellectual passions, ability to use my free time in a cultural and intellectual way rather than wasting time. Jacklyn G - Brandeis University View Entire Review
I realized that all the fun things I did in London I could do back in Boston. I make an effort to do a lot more fun things now. I also learned to appreciate how multicultural the US is in comparison to mainland Europe. Daniel Y - Brandeis University View Entire Review
I gained a better understanding of what kind of person I want to be in ten years, which made the trip worthwhile in a way I did not expect at all. Harrison Rosengard - Brandeis University View Entire Review

I learned the value of adaptability and appreciated the diversity of cultures. After studying abroad, I now have a much broader perspective and worldview. It was absolutely worthwhile, and I hope to live abroad for another period of my life. Victoria Moran - Harvey Mudd College View Entire Review

I got better at research paper writing. I was taught how to use quantitative and qualitative research methods. This is a great experience to have. Also, I got a sense of how many cultures in the world think and act. Miguel Correa - Hampden-Sydney College View Entire Review

I learned how to interact with different people, how to travel alone, how to plan my time and money and how to be independent A student - Brandeis University View Entire Review
I think it really worth it!! London was so much fun and I was able to travel to many places, meet new friends, etc. Im an art major back at Brandeis so I really enjoyed the artistic/cultural element there Jenny Z - Brandeis University View Entire Review
I think I had to learn how to spend a lot of time with myself and getting comfortable with exploring and going on my own adventures without waiting on other people. I also learned so much history about the U.K. by taking classes outside my field and also just by walking around the city. A student - Brandeis University View Entire Review
Social Skills, time management. 100% Leon G - Brandeis University View Entire Review
I feel like I have made full use of my time in London because I went to explore the city almost everyday, and I made lots of friends in UCL. I came to the US wanting to experience the culture the most and I have definitely done that! All the trips were excited and unforgettable and I really wish I could stay there longer. Mengqi Tian - Brandeis University View Entire Review
I learned that though the world is so much bigger than I thought it was, so many people from all over share the same values as me. Who would have thought that given the space and time I could be friends with people from Spain, the Netherlands, Switzerland, Australia, Germany, Canada, Turkey, and more. I will forever be grateful ... A student - Brandeis University View Entire Review
The program wasn't as academy fulfilling as I had hoped it would be, however it was great for personal growth and development. A student - Brandeis University View Entire Review
I learned how to adult! Since I was living in a flat with a kitchen, that meant I had no meal plan. I learned how to provide for myself and since London housing tends to be far from universities, I had to plan ahead for my 25 min commute to school. A student - Brandeis University View Entire Review
Lifelong friends, acculturation. Very worthwhile. A student - Brandeis University View Entire Review
I learned a lot about myself, and I guess that's part of the point in going abroad, to learn about yourself and becoming a better person. I got to learn about living in a space a bit out of my comfort zone, and how to enjoy traveling, with people and by myself. It was all completely worthwhile. A student - Brandeis University View Entire Review
It was definitely a worthwhile experience. The academics is not as intensive as Wellesley, so you will have plenty of time to enjoy the culture and lifestyle abroad. A student - Wellesley College View Entire Review
Yes. Although I myself is from a whole different culture, the difference between western cultures, American and British (and also European, because I traveled a lot through western Europe) is clear and interesting to me. A student - Brandeis University View Entire Review
Met people from all over the world with different viewpoints. Learned to be independent and open minded. Definitely worth A student - Brandeis University View Entire Review
